Most of Us Search for 190.168.o.1 tp-link but it’s not the correct Router Address. The default IP Address Starts with 192.168 and you are entering 190.168.

The Next thing is all are numbers in the IP address there is no alphabet so the correct IP address is 192.168.0.1, not 190.168.o.1 it’s Zero, not the letter O.

TP-Link Wifi Router Setup With Internet:

If you have a local Internet connection at your home that shares the Internet with LAN Cable then this guide is perfectly suitable for you.

Step 1: Turn On the Wifi Router

Connect your TP-Link Router with Power Cable and insert the Incoming Internet LAN Cable in Blue LAN Port of Router.

Step 2:Connect your PC with Router

Now turn on the Router and connect the Router with your Laptop/PC using Wi-Fi/LAN Cable. The default wifi password is given at the backside of the router.

Step 3: Visit the Admin IP Address

Then open any browser on your PC and enter (192.168.0.1) OR (tplinkwifi.net)in the browser address bar and hit the enter button.

Step 4: Log in to Router Admin Page

Now you will see the login Page enter the default username and password (admin) or check the default Username and Password at the backside of your Router.

Step 5: Go to Quick Setup

Then after you are loggedin it will show you Quick Setup option click Next Button.

Step 6: Then Select the PPPoE option and click Next Button

Step 7: Enter your ISP Username and Password

Then Enter the Username and Password that your Internet Provider given you and click next.

Step 8: Connect The Wifi with New Name and password

Then it will show you wifi options, you can change the SSID that is Wifi Network Name and Select WPSK2 to enter the Password as you want, and click on NEXT.

Step 9: Restart the Wifi Router

Now Your TP-Link Wifi Router will Restart and you will see the new wifi in your network. You can connect to the Wi-Fi name with your Password and use the Internet.

If you are using any FTTH Connection or your Internet Service Provider has already set up one Router/Modem at your Home/Office and you want to extend the Wifi Range then this is the best guide for you.

Step 1: Turn On the Wifi Router

Connect the Power cable to your TP-Link Router and connect the router with your PC/Laptop using Wi-Fi or LAN Cable.

Step 2: Login to Wifi Router Admin Panel

Now open any browser on your PC and enter (192.168.0.1) OR (tplinkwifi.net)in the browser address bar and hit the enter button.

Step 3: Go to Quick Setup

Now select the Quick Setup OR Working Mode and then select the Range Extender option and Click Next.

Step 4: Look Up for Main Wifi to Connect

Now You will see one page there Click on the Survey Button to scan the Nearby Wifi. Then click on the Connect option near the Wi-Fi name.

Step 5: Connect with The Main Wifi

Then Enter the Wifi Password in the Wireless Password option and Select or Enter Your TP-Link Repeater Name.

If you both Routers are having Same Login IP Address then You can change the IP address (Default Gateway) for TP-Link Repeater. This will not confuse you while changing the settings.

Step 6: Setup Static IP and Reboot the Router

Here you can change the Type to Static and Enter a New IP address for your Repeater Device. Keep the DHCP server Disable and Click Next. The TP-Link Router will Restart and the Setup will get Complete.

Step 7: Set Password to Extender Wifi

Now after the Wifi Reboot Enter the New IP and login to the Router Admin panel. Then Go to Wireless >> Extended Network and you can change the Extender Wifi Name and Password here.

You can update the TP-Link Router Firmware by logging to your Admin Page and following some steps given below:

Step 1: Login to the Admin Panel of your Router with https://192.168.0.1 IP Address.

Step 2: Then Go to System Tools >> Firmware Upgrade and Click on the Link in the Help Section.

Step 3: Download the Latest Firmware available for your Router.

Step 4: Now In the Same Location for Firmware Upgrade Choose the Firmware File and Click on Upgrade Button.

If you do not find any file to upgrade that means your router does not have any further update for now. You can wait and check back later for the Firmware Upgrade Download on TP-Link Website.

Change TP-Link Router Admin Username and Password:

The default username and Password for TP-Link Router is admin and it’s known to all. If you do not secure your username and password then anybody can easily log in to your Admin Panel and do changes.

Step 1: Login to the Admin Panel of your Router with https://192.168.0.1 IP Address.

Step 2: Go to System Tools >> Password. Here you can change your Default Username and Password.

Step 3: Now enter your OLD Username and OLD Password if never changed then ender admin in both boxes.

Step 4: Then enter your New Username and Password. Make sure you remember it then click Save Button.
